The use of the Session App is possible with the creation of your account. Session has implemented numerous technical and organizational measures to ensure the most complete protection of personal data processed through this app. However, Internet-based data transmissions may in principle have security gaps, so absolute protection may not be guaranteed. For this reason, every data subject is free to transfer personal data to us via alternative means, e.g. by telephone.
When you use our services, you choose to give us certain information. Session asks for your location in order to locate you on the map and have a list of nearby spots. However, this location is not collected by Session. We only collect the data explicitly provided by the user when registering: email, username, password and possibly a referral code. To provide a better service to our users (through "Sessions" functionality), the location of the user (a unique GPS coordinate) may also be collected in order to send notifications when a "session" is created (by another user) around this user location.
